What the role is
- ASSISTANT MANAGER, COLLECTIONS, RECEIVABLES & REFUNDS
What you will be working on
- You will be part of LTA's Collections and Refunds team responsible for accurate and timely reconciliation and accounting of collections and preparation of month end schedules and periodic reports to management. You will perform daily downloading of reports, checking of receipts against bank statements and liaising with various stakeholders and banks. In addition, you will be involved in the collection of court fine instalment and prompt followup on default cases. You will be required to take on chief cashiering duties for the collection of monies and banking in of cheque collections. Beyond these, you may be required to assist in the user acceptance testing for system enhancements and preparation of user guides and standard operating procedures
What we are looking for
- Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualification in Accountancy / Business Administration / Business / Finance
- Knowledge in SAP financial system is preferred
- Meticulous, good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision under tight timelines
