Roles & Responsibilities

Role:RHEL Unix Admin

Job Summary:

We're looking for someone with extensive knowledge of RHEL Unix administration, including proficiency in Ansible Tower, RedHat Satellite Server, and system hardening. This role involves:

Administering and maintaining RHEL Unix environments for optimal performance and security.
Managing Red Hat Satellite Server for patch management and configuration.
Using Ansible Tower to automate tasks and deployments.
Implementing and maintaining system hardening guidelines.
Regularly updating and patching systems.
Responding to and resolving system incidents and issues.
Managing system changes according to change management protocols.
Providing on-call support as needed.
Assisting other teams with Linux/Unix systems.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Maintaining accurate documentation.
Preparing reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 4-8 years of experience as a RHEL Unix Administrator (VMware experience a plus).
Strong experience with Ansible Tower and Red Hat Satellite Server.
Proficiency in Unix/Linux system hardening and security best practices.
Experience in incident and change management.
Ability to provide 24/7 support as needed.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

Certifications in RHEL, Ansible, or related technologies.
Experience in a cloud environment.
Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
