Description
SoftBank Robotics, the global leader in workforce automation, is seeking a qualified Service Support Engineer to join a fast-growing team focusing on shaping the future with artificial intelligence and robotics. The Service Support Engineer will report to our APAC Service Manager. This is a Singapore based permanent role.-MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: _- Ø Support and covers APAC for service related functions _
- Ø Responsible for daily service operations _
- Ø To be the point of contact between SoftBank Robotics and customers and vendors _
- Ø Understand the company processes flow between various functions. _
- Ø Plan and perform hands-on diagnostic, troubleshooting, repair and refurbish of robot as accordance to company SOP _
- Ø Able to create SOP for repair vendors _
- Ø Monitor and keep track of vendors SLA and performance _
- Ø Study the current inquiries trend, repair trend and failure rate and to offer solutions _
- Ø Update SAP for any stock movement and raising of purchase order _
- Ø Update SFDC for machines location _
- Ø Filing of monthly warranty report to factory _
- Ø Prepare and send announcement to vendors and customers for any product(s) OS upgrade, documentation updates, and etc. _
- Ø Participate in weekly factory meeting to understand current issues and raise any potential issues(s) _
- Ø Raise payment request for vendors invoices _
- Ø Prepare weekly report of logged inquiries and repairs _
- Ø New product(s) launch support _
- Ø Ad-hoc tasks assign by manager
- REQUIREMENTS: _
- Ø At least 3 to 5 years relevant working experience, robot industry or high-tech, IT industry is preferred _
- Ø Able to read schematic and engineering drawings _
