Responsibilities:

Setting up or maintaining server infrastructure; inclusive of OS, System and Application software installation, in the data center
Provide day to day administration support, server patching, preventive maintenance, system housekeeping, weekly routine checkup for server, documentation updates
Provide training to internal users.
Work with vendors to resolve the problem in servers
Provide afterhours support on a call basis, as required.
Ready to work after office hour or on weekends for system maintenance or system down.

Requirements:

Diploma/Bachelor in IT/Computer Science.
23 years of relevant experiences is highly preferred.
Daily IT technical support for Server OS/Hardware problems, backup for Servers.
Setup, manage, maintain and perform troubleshooting on virtual servers (VMware & Vsphere 5.0 above).
Good troubleshooting skills for (Windows Server 2008R2, 2012R2, 2016, 2019) Operating systems. Experienced in Linux is an advantange
Experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Cluster, File server environment will be recommended.
Well versed with Backup system, like HP Data Protector and VEEAM, to perform backup, restoration and offsite retention and backup management for VMware environment and Physical servers.
Experience in Web Technologies like IIS, Apache etc.
Will be required to produce technical documentation (ISO compliance) with minimum supervision and within an agreed deadline.
Willing to learn and explore new technologies/tools to improve system stability & security and user support.
