    Description

    Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

    Management Accounting

  • Responsible for completeness and accuracy of the accounting records maintained by SSC - Singapore
  • Managing the month-end closing, including ensuring all month-end reconciliations are performed, prepayments and accruals are correctly calculated, and all month-end journals are prepared and posted. Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting schedules in standard Group format and to Group reporting deadlines.
  • Help to provide reports for the preparation of annual budget and forecasts for the Company in standard Group format and to Group timetable.
  • Responsible for monthly reporting package

    • Financial Accounting

  • Responsible for preparing year-end statutory accounts.
  • Responsibility for ensuring that all sales are invoiced promptly, and that revenue is properly recognised.

    • Fixed Assets, Depreciation and Capital Expenditure

  • Ensuring that depreciation is correctly calculated and charged to the profit and loss account.

    • Treasury and Banking

  • Ensuring all bank accounts are reconciled on a timely basis.
  • Ensuring adequate controls are maintained over cash transactions and balances.

    • Taxation

  • Ensure that accounts are kept complying with tax authorities including ensuring the timely and accurate submission of all Company tax returns.
  • Responsible for GST Reporting

    • Others

  • Such other tasks of a financial management or administrative nature as may reasonably be required by the Group or the Manager from time to time.

    • Education & Experience

  • Degree in Accounting or its equivalent
  • 3-5 years accounting experience in a multi-national environment
  • Hands on experience in maintaining a full set of accounts

    • Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to work independently, assertive, committed and team player
  • SAP Experience
  • Meticulous and with a good number sense
  • Diligent, proactive, resourceful and a good team player
  • Possess drive, initiative, good communication and interpersonal skills
