JOB SCOPE


We are looking for a dynamic and passionate VP, Destination Marketing to join our team to help take our brand and destination to new heights.


  • With strong marketing experience under your belt, you will have the expertise to craft, build and execute strong business plans and exciting go to market strategies for Marina Bay Sands
  • Understanding and experience in our key markets such as Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, and China are crucial. You possess the ability to identify the right strategies, opportunities, create holistic marketing campaigns and will drive activations that resonate with our premium audiences in these markets.
  • You will identify and secure compelling marketing partnership opportunities that enhance or help to fill any execution gaps that our resort might have and drive marketing communication efforts across our key markets. You will also collaboratively build and maintain relationships with key industry partners and stakeholders to ensure Marina Bay Sands is top of mind for opportunities.
  • You will manage the destination marketing budget, develop marketing materials and collateral, participate in industry events, and collaborate with multiple business units across the resort to align content and marketing efforts with business goals.
  • You will also be responsible for analysing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and making datadriven decisions to optimize future efforts.
  • As Marina Bay Sands continues to grow and expand over the next decade, you will have the opportunity to be a part of our ambitious growth trajectory, including the addition of our second integrated resort, arena, and a myriad of exceptional experiences to provide for our most valuable customers.

LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATION

  • You must have excellent leadership skills, able to move and influence large teams toward a unified vision and objective
  • You possess a strong ability to form meaningful relationships with people, being clear & approachable as this role must work with every department across the MBS ecosystem, from senior leadership to marketing, design, operations, F&B, sales, and distribution—to create a cohesive customer experience and drive a positive workplace.
  • As a leader, you will manage a team of destination marketing professionals and work on growing the capability and skills of the team. Our team is our family. You must ensure they feel motivated, energized, and focused in their areas of specialism
  • You are an effective communicator persuasive and articulate, and you are an ambassador of the brand and destination in all public facing interactions

COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY

  • The VP, Destination Marketing is a commercial position. In this role you are expected to understand the business, commercial impact of strategic investments and make good longterm decisions
  • You will manage an operational budget for high impact campaigns and projects and effectively collate and socialize the strategic and commercial learnings from ongoing activity to build confidence with the agreed strategy

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields.
  • Over 15 years of marketing and management experience
  • Be curious and creative, capable of logical thinking and strategic planning.
  • Well versed with the advertising and media landscape in Asia Pacific
  • Be meticulous, able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and in an organized way.
  • Be able to handle ambiguity, high workload, and extreme amount of detail.
  • Have exceptional intellectual, professional, and interpersonal agility with strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Work collaboratively and communicate with senior management team.
