- Performing Certifying Actuary work such as reserve valuation and reviews, stress testing, capital adequacy analysis, risk management assessments, etc
- Participate in Merger & Acquisitions (M&A) and due diligence projects
- Building actuarial models to support in decision making and analysis
- Advise clients on various insurance topics such as accounting and regulatory change, claims, pricing or reserving process optimisation, market studies
- Support in business development initiatives such as preparing proposals and presentations The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:
- Be pursuing a degree in a numerical discipline such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly
- Strong time management skills and ability to juggle multiple assignments at the same time Demonstrate an interest and desire to pursue an actuarial career such as through internships, courses, or actuarial examinations
