What the role is

We are looking for a high performer to be part of IMDA's Procurement Unit to transform IMDA's procurement processes. As a driver of transformation, you will champion the use of data analytics and technology to drive innovations, automations and service deliveries. You will also work closely with the users to provide procurement support to meet their business needs.

Your responsibilities would encompass the following:

Provide timely advice to the users on most effective and efficient way for their procurement and provide guidance for contract management activities
Review of procurement submissions including sourcing document, recommendation paper, and any other related tasks
Support the Procurement team in the development, implementation and improvements in procurement policies and processes
Work as a team on digitalisation projects such as Robotic Processing Automation to automate repetitive processes
Perform data analysis to recommend evidentbased improvements and decisions such as demand aggregation
Develop and update dashboard with procurement trends, forecasts and KPIs for management reporting and recommend any early intervention where necessary
Develop and maintain systems or programmes to increase user procurement knowledge
Collaborate with audit to support audit reviews for improvements in policies, processes and systems

Requirements:

At least 5 years' experience in government procurement and have handson knowledge of GeBIZ
Able to multitask and have demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management
Resourceful and able to adapt in a fastchanging environment, meticulous, independent and a selfmotivated team player
Possess good communication, analytical, writing, problem solving and project/contract management skills
Relevant experience in analytics or strategic reporting or Cumulus will be advantageous.

The position offered will be commensurate with experience.
