    The mission of the Youth Preventive Service Group (YPS) of the Health Promotion Board (HPB) is to promote good health through early detection and intervention to reduce ill health among school-going children. The services provided by the Group include health and dental screening, immunisation, and lifestyle intervention programmes.

    You will be a part of the YPS Strategic Operations department that drives process improvement and digital transformation to achieve operations efficiency and quality services.

    What You Can expect

    As a member of the Strategic Operations Department, you will:

    1. Quality and Risk Management

    Develop and implement quality and risk management processes and procedures to ensure high standards of preventive health services. The role includes monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of processes, integrating quality and risk management considerations into the business, performing secretariat functions, driving the annual review of YPS' risk register, and analyzing and evaluating trends related to quality, safety, and risk management within YPS.

    2. Process Improvement

    Work with YPS clinical departments to identify and prioritize digital initiatives that improve customer experience. Your role will include monitoring and reporting on digital project progress, providing training and support to business users, and collaborating with the IT team to resolve issues during project implementation.

    What an ideal candidate looks like

    An ideal candidate will be a dynamic and self-motivated individual with at least 5 years of relevant working experience. The candidate should also possess:

    • Strong understanding of quality and risk management processes and procedures, with experience in developing and implementing these in a complex business environment
    • Proven track record of managing successful digital transformation initiatives, preferably in a healthcare setting.
    • Able to work with ambiguity and propose sound and timely solutions.
    • Able to rally both internal and external stakeholders to work towards a collective purpose, and co-create solutions for common good.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
