Our Client is looking for a
Project Engineer to coordinate and ensure that all statutory requirements and deliverables are carried out in a timely manner and within the project budget.


JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

  • Familiar and able to adhere to the Project Management Process from being awarded the project to handover, especially the statutory requirements and deliverables
  • Develop comprehensive project plan for multiple projects
  • Reviews project proposal and plan time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget
  • Coordinate and be involved in tender surveys
  • Prepare and provide regular project management reports to the Management before and during all the Monthly Work in progress ("WIP") review and meetings
  • Directs and coordinates activities of project team which includes attend site meeting, involve in all internal and external inspection / handover of projects
  • Coordinate daily activities and resolve technical problems, in house repair works, internally with the Products and Services, Sales, Engineering Departments, and externally with the suppliers and contractors
  • Manage cost and preempt / highlight potential cost overrun and late delivery of project.
  • Ensure compliance to Company's policies, procedures and requirements of the process and quality requirements
  • Sign off and execute all contractual terms to continuously protect Company's interests and financial entitlements
  • Demonstrate safety leadership, conduct periodically quality walks, safety walks and safety inspections
  • Responsible for the employee and subcontractor safety compliance at project sites and conducting safety walks on regular basis
  • Proactive in Maintaining high level of business relationships and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain, update and prepare accurate documentations of technical service reports and checklists according to compliance requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years of project management in buildings, lifts & escalator experience
  • University Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Project Management or equivalent.
  • Building modernization knowledge and experience
  • Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively without compromising deadlines
  • Ability to work onsite independently and as a team
  • Willing to go the extra mile to ensure Customer Satisfaction
  • Proficient with Microsoft office and other Engineering software
