An exciting opportunity to work in Consumer Healthcare R&D, responsible for providing clinical and scientific expertise in the design, execution and interpretation of non-clinical and clinical studies required to support registration of OTC drugs, cosmetic products and devices.

• The Clinical Scientist is responsible for assisting in the development of claims, and management of the medical activities within the development and registration process.
• The Clinical Scientist provides medical and scientific evaluation of new product business development opportunities, as a key member of the Due Diligence team, as required.

• Leads, or supports the scientific design of preclinical and clinical development programs for products across the Consumer Healthcare portfolio.
• Supports preclinical and clinical study protocol development and is actively involved in the medical integrity and safety of the patients/volunteers involved in the development programs.
• Provides scientific and clinical interpretation of nonclinical and clinical study results, working closely with statistical colleagues, to support registration of OTC drugs, cosmetic products and devices.
• Leads, or supports the claim support process; reviews and oversees the preparation of FMCG and drug product claims documents.
• Prepares claim support documents for cosmetic products and design studies to meet cosmetic directives.
• Leads the creation of highquality preclinical and clinical documents that can be submitted as part of regulatory dossiers, expert reports, common technical document, and response to regulatory queries.
• Supports R&D through provision of highquality medical and scientific evaluation of business development opportunities: e.g. both initial triage and full Due Diligence support, as required.
• May represent medical science in meetings with Health Authorities, KOLs and other external groups/individuals.
• Works effectively with other functions within R&D and the broader Mundipharma business to efficiently achieve quality results and generate a highfunctioning team ethos.

• A demonstrated ability to effectively manage internal and external cross functional relationships.
• Ability to effectively summarise technical information into a document which is understandable and presentable to regulatory authorities, commercial and external partners
• Effective communication skills with the ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders.
• Cultural sensitivity gained from experience within diverse environments.

• Experience within industry of delivering medical solutions in a FMCG and OTC Healthcare environment or Medical Devices.
• Proven track record in leadership and management of projects preferably with a focus in Consumer Healthcare.
