Description

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for chemical and biological testing of water samples in accordance to International Standard requirements.
  • Responsible for lab equipment validation, calibration and maintenance.
  • Responsible for analyzing, interpreting of test data and reporting results accordingly.
  • Responsible in the proper documentation of test data.
  • Responsible in developing of new analytical methodologies, techniques, and test kits in accordance with customer requirements or market needs.
  • Responsible in training analysts.
  • Responsible in undertaking to troubleshoot problems relating to the test and lab equipment.
  • Responsible for sourcing of equipment and instrumentation needs.
  • Familiar with the laboratory quality system in accordance with SAC-SINGLAS ISO 17025:2017 and to perform activities to unkeep the laboratory 's quality system.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:


  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Experience in new Microbiology lab setup and water testing is an added advantage.
  • Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Biotechnology or equivalent.
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
