Roles & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities and Duties:
· To lead a multi-disciplinary team in planning the care of the patients and in ensuring the quality of care.
· To supervise and train Registrars and Medical Offices to provide a high standard of medical care.
· Provide inpatient and/or outpatient care of patients at St Luke's Hospital and other assigned institutions as part of extension of services of the hospital.
· To support referral center in the screening of referrals esp. complex patients referred for inpatient care.
· Be actively involved in the development and improvement of palliative clinical services through audit, research and participation in clinical committees.
· Be actively involved in developing, reviewing and implementing palliative clinical policies for the division and hospital.
· Be involved in teaching and training at undergraduate and post-graduate level.
Job Requirements:
· Relevant postgraduate qualifications: AST (Advanced Specialist Training in Palliative Medicine)
· At least 2 years work experience in Palliative Institution or IHPCS
