The Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS) has been caring for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PWIDs) and their families since 1962.

With the key focus to expand community-based services, improving the employability of PWIDS, strengthening education, and engendering inclusive community living, MINDS offers a holistic range of services and programmes across the PWIDs' lifespan.


RESPONSIBILITIES
The Social Work Associate works in the field of Social Work.

He/She is qualified and trained to assist in providinginterventions and programmes, performing community development work and uplifting the professional practice in socialwork.

He assists in coordinating casework, group work and community development activities and programmes, supportingcommunity events and performing administrative functions.

A responsive, adaptable and astute staff, the Social Work Associate works in institutional settings, communities, socialservice agencies and hospitals. He works as part of a collaborative team with other agencies and ministries in the course ofhis work.


QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Social Work, Social Services or related fields
