Description

Responsibilities:

To perform inspection, mechanical repair & assembly work of aircraft structural component.

Able to perform the following:

1. Inspect and document defects accurately in Inspection Repair Records (IRR)
2. Mechanical Repair
3. Part Forming
4. Part Replacement Work
5. Assembly and Disassembly Work
6. Final inspect completed repair task, ensuring it is serviceable and ready for release to service.
7. Can work independently on at least 3 skills set
8. Have good product knowledge of at least 1 major program
9. Setup Alignment Jig / ASMJ for Repair Work
10. Handle more than one job at a time
11. Schedule repair process to meet job delivery
12. Perform basic troubleshooting in Assembly work
13. Clear Work Package upon job completion
14. Create Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
15. Ensure good discipline, housekeeping & shop floor safety
16. Ensure a harmonious and safe environment for the technicians

Requirements:

1. Diploma/Nitec in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
2. Preferably with 1 to 3 years of experience in the maintenance, repair & overhaul of nacelle components
3. Understanding of blue prints, repair instructions & sketches
4. Possess CAAS A12, B11 & L11/L12 papers would be advantageous
5. Able to work independently and meet deadlines
6. A team player with a positive working attitude and keen interest to learn
7. Fresh school leavers will be considered for an entry level position
