Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the entire procurement procedures including purchase requisitions, obtain quotes, purchase orders and delivery of goods according to the purchasing guidelines.

Negotiate and build a good working relationship with the suppliers.

Create inventory control and stock take for all goods supplied and delivered.

Liaise with the Superintendents and vessels for matters relating to requisitions.

Requirements:

Diploma in Purchasing, or Supply Chain with equivalent qualifications.

At least 3 years of purchasing experience in Marine/Shipping industry.

Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary:
$3,000 to $4,000
