    Roles & Responsibilities

    PURPOSE

    The HR Business partner (HRBP) position will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management to designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to the business on all human resource-related issues.

    KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

    • Provides the day-to-day guidance to the business through coaching, career development, counselling, and disciplinary actions. In this capacity, the HR Business Partner manages and resolves complex employee-relations issues.
    • Provides informal leadership and mentorship to the business where he/she acts as the program/process leader for various HR initiatives, for example, performance management process, talent management and employee development.
    • Supports the business's strategies at various departments and levels. Provides guidance and input on workforce planning, business unit restructures, and succession planning, ensuring that core HR processes are applied appropriately and in a legally compliant manner.
    • Develops a plan for the business to ensure that resources are managed strategically. This is inclusive of developing a strategic approach to recruitment of key personnel.
    • Analyzes trends and metrics to develop and enhance solutions, processes, and programs that address current problems and also to avoid future ones. Is tasked with maintaining relationships across the business. Conducts regular meetings with the various departments to build and develop trusted relationships.
    • Oversees and manages complex employee-relations issues, supporting formal appeals while simultaneously coaching the relevant managers on management best practices.
    • Works collaboratively with departmental heads throughout the business, assisting them in understanding compensation and rewards programs, training and development programs, while ensuring of proper management and communication practices
    • Maintains an in-depth knowledge of the legal requirements, internal and external, related to the day-to-day HR management of employees within the business, reducing legal risks, guaranteeing regulatory compliance while enabling employee satisfaction and retention.
    • Manages the employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding including process enhancement and simplification to increase efficiency and productivity.
    • Helps to drive key HR initiatives and projects i.e. Employer Branding, Employee Engagement, Employee Reward & Recognition Program, Talent Review and new launches on WorkDay systems etc
    • Leads in Talent Acquisition by involvement in workforce planning and ensuring timely hires for all roles within the organisation.

    QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor degree e.g. HR
    • Strong HR business partnering skills
    • In-depth knowledge of all Ministry of Manpower regulations
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Min 8 years of experience in Human Resources

    • Proficient in HRIS especially WorkDay
    • Team player who is highly collaborative
