Description

Job Responsibilities :

Manage the operation of applications laboratory and lead its team of scientists.

• Prioritize the laboratory work and technical service activities
• Lead and motivate the team of scientists and address development areas
• Ensure that laboratory operates in a safe manner and adhering to government laws

Provide technical service to customers to facilitate sales of products

• Engage the team to provide information to customers on product properties, performance, and benefits
• Visit customers to do product presentation, discussion, seminar, workshop, training
• Encourage collaboration with customers on technical projects; develop formulation concepts & ensure more
• Work on Innovation projects together with the R&D (GTI) teams, as well as Local Sales teams

Promote deep understanding of products

• Product training to sales, distributors, and customers
• Participate in seminars and exhibitions, conduct technical seminars and workshops with customers

Coordinate the activities of the lab with external partners

• Liaise with sales team on technical service requests, updates and results
• Work together with Business Development & Marketing to create concepts and also to support New Launches.
• Participate in Global Expert Circles on technical exchange.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Applied Science
• 5 years' working experience in applications laboratory and technical support
• Superior presentation, communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization and develop relationships with internal service functions.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities and strong drive for results
• Willing to travel around 25%
