Associate Data Centre Engineer - Singapore - Rapsys Technologies
Description
Onsite support for the delivery, installation, site preparation and security of the new data center.- System & alert monitoring and escalation
- Batch jobs processing including backups (e.g., execute/ submit, monitor, and handle jobs according to work instructions / MOP defined)
- Server health checks
- Floor walks
- Startup, shutdown, reboot systems, restart services, etc.
- Initiate prompt actions for tasks indicated on the checklists
- Ensure proper handover to next shift team member
- Provide support for incident management
- Incident ticketing and escalation
- Liaise with users/ customers on project related operational matters
- Respond promptly to incident and escalation
- Provide assistance in remote management and troubleshooting
- Manage DC inventory list
- Manage DC physical access control
- Provide support for Audit
- Perform general housekeeping
- Answer calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Any other duties/ tasks that may be assigned by the Ops supervisor/ DC Ops Lead
