Title:
Business Analyst


The Business Analyst will work with SJ CityGlobal team to explore and manage various projects including larger and complex developments such as Integrated New Urban Centres, Industrial Parks, Townships, Airport Cities and other Transport Oriented Developments.

The Business Analyst shall assist the team to implement the following tasks:

Job Descriptions

Business Development and Development Management- Conduct industry market study and identify key pillar industries- Forecast demand and assess future potentials- Conduct competitor analysis and benchmark study- Formulate criteria to target and select foreign and domestic companies- Recommend incentive policies for job creation and skills development- Propose industrial policies to attract investment into companies- Assist in the future review of master plan to meet the needs of economic transformation and any other macro conditions- Propose infrastructure planning and funding availability- Drafting the necessary reports to support recommendations for business development


Financial Analysis- Conduct and analyze real estate market research to support commercial feasibility study.- Build financial models and undertake deal analysis.- Prepare business case documentation and presentations.- Work closely with external market consultants to provide advisory work to client.

- Contributing to other team requirements as required

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Financial engineering skills; superior problem solving, numerical and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of economics and financial markets
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong track record of handling multiple projects without sacrificing quality
  • Selfstarter, exhibit selfmotivation and highly serviceoriented work ethics
  • Willingness to work in a highly demanding and resultsoriented team environment
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Engineering
  • Knowledge of the business environment in infrastructure and finance sectors
years of work experience recommended
