Job Description

An established global trading firm is recruiting for a manager position within their Wellness Business Department.
This department goal is to promote Value-Based Healthcare in Asia-Pacific by enhancing the quality of healthcare and reducing medical expenditures, by investing in and/or connecting various stakeholders, such as the best-in-class hospitals/ clinics, regional payers and pharmaceutical companies, and encouraging outcome-based care using healthcare data.
The Manager will handle projects like new business opportunities, leveraging the company's global assets and innovative strategies, particularly focusing on healthcare IT, digital health, and healthcare digital transformation in Asia Pacific with strong focus in ASEAN countries.

【Main mission】
・Responsible in increasing the value and performance of affiliated companies by utilizing Company's network, resources, and expertise in the wellness sector.
・Plan and carry out the department's projects as per the mid-term management plan, which are aligned with the global strategy of Wellness Business Unit in HQ, as well as the regional strategy.
・Explore, evaluate, and pursue new investment opportunities in the wellness sector in the region that fit with our strategies.
・To communicate effectively and clearly both verbally and in writing with management, team members, management of affiliated companies and other stakeholders.

【Responsibility】
1. Explore, evaluate, and pursue new investment opportunities in the region that fit with our strategy, as a project manager.
→Support GM and/or DGM to identify and act on such opportunities, by contributing to making proposals to potential partners, market research and financial analysis within projects, also by leveraging company's network and division's industrial knowledge.

2. Lead to increase the value and performance of affiliated companies, by managing multiple clients and project teams, ensuring a deep understanding of the main challenges/ difficulties of such stakeholders, and by utilizing company's global network and expertise.

3. Plan and execute the department's project pipeline for the mid-term and long-term, in line with the global strategy of HQ Wellness Business Unit, as well as the company's Asia-Pacific regional strategy.

Job Requirement

(ESSENTIAL)
・Bachelor's degree or higher
・Years of investment-related work experience.
・Proactive, self-motivated, and result-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
・Willingness to actively diversify the range of industry-related expertise and business expertise
・Willingness and ability to travel occasionally within the Asia Pacific region, especially in the ASEAN countries (frequency of travel: 1-2 times/ quarter)
・Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both in written and verbal
・Experience in strategy development and business planning
・Experience in end-to-end project management

(Advantage)
・Have prior experience in healthcare sector
・Have prior exposure to Asia market sector
・Strong analytical and quantitative skills, such as financial analysis, investment profitability study
