    Roles & Responsibilities

    KidSTART Singapore Ltd. (KSL) is a non-profit organization, incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee under the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) in Sep 2020 to support low-income families with children 0-6 years old in child development, especially through the KidSTART programme.

    Description of Division/Branch

    Corporate Communications will be in charge of sharing and safeguarding information to internal and external audiences / stakeholders and engage them in a bid to manage brand perception and organization's goals. Using corporate communications, the team aims to champion a strong branding image of giving children a good start in life and as thought leaders in the Early Childhood Development sector while maintaining a positive reputation within both social service and early childhood sectors and bridge information gaps between KidSTART and Ministries.

    Responsibilities

    Corporate Branding

    • Build, maintain & safeguard KSL's corporate reputation by creating favorable messaging around KidSTART, and lead with good reputation, internally and externally.
    • Manage Crisis Communications and Communication protocols within internal and external stakeholders.
    • Be the custodian of KSL's corporate identifiers (eg: Logo, tagline), branding tools and collaterals.
    • Dissemination & enforcement of branding guidelines with KSAs and partners.

    External & Internal stakeholder engagement

    • Maintain good relations and oversee communications between government stakeholders and internal teams (eg: HR & IT, MSF/ComLink & ECDA).
    • Support all external engagements that KSL is engaged or involved in (eg: Conferences & Panel discussions, ECC, SSDB).

    External & Internal communications

    • Lead & coordinate formal / corporate related communication reporting & articles. (eg: Annual reports, Journal articles, Researches).
    • Work with internal teams to come up with a system & content to communicate corporate information within the organization.
    • Formulate and uphold communication policies.

    Qualifications/Competencies

    • Degree holder with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in the social service or non-profit sector or related sector.
    • At least 2 years of corporate communication experience.
    • Able to lead and handle projects timely and effectively with an eye for details.
    • Excellent independent team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Good facilitation skills and ability to engage and influence different stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in a mother tongue language is an advantage.
