Responsibilities

Report to Operation Manager.
Support production, warehouse, logistic and office facilities maintenance, upkeep and repair activities, ensuring facilities reliability and are safe to use.
Manage and control consumables used to optimum level.
Work closely with the production, warehouse personnel, pack / bulk personnel, planner, customer service personnel and support Operation Manager in all maintenance matters, liaise with external contractors and service providers related to plant maintenance and installation.
Implement preventive maintenance programs for:
Vehicles (trucks, tankers, forklifts)
Pumps
Hoses
Compressors
Maintain warehouse / production facilities (equipment, utilities & tools) in working condition.
Repair / service IBCs, pumps (PTO, diaphragm & magnetic pumps), hoses and compressors.
Inspect and service storage tanks, isolation valves and piping.
Communicate with relevant department personnel to support on maintenance function.
Monitor and record preventive maintenance activities.
Upkeep equipment & tools in tidy and proper condition.
Maintain critical equipment for periodical replacement.
Perform welding, cutting and fabrication works.
Plan vehicles (truck) inspections and ISO tankers recertifications.
Manage and control plant consumables.
Manage spare parts inventory.
Maintain workshop cleanliness and housekeeping.
Dispose and scrap off packaging.

Requirements:

Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
Ideally with valid electrician license.
2 or more years of relevant maintenance experience.
Hand on experience of repair, servicing and maintaining activities.
Know how to operate forklift, added advantage if you have valid forklift license.
Selfstarter who can drive accomplishments.
Ability to develop and foster mutual working relationships with all personnel and contractors.
Team player with good observation, communication and organisational skills.
Selfmotivated, independent and resourceful.

Working location: Tuas
5.5 working days
Able to wear all PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment) to work in warm environment.
No skin or respiratory allergy to chemicals
Able to perform overtime as and when required.
