Description

Design experience in HV, MV, LV & ELV system design, Oil & Gas and Chemical experience preferred, Client Co-ordination, Lead team of Electrical engineers and designers, Onsite-offshore Coordination.


  • Should be able to lead multiple projects and teams.
  • Experience in green field and multiple brown field projects.
  • Experience in handling abroad projects e.g. Europe, Singapore & Gulf.
  • Exposure to HT and LT system design, Switchyard design/Substation design.
  • Preparation and review of Single line diagrams and Load list.
  • Preparation and review of Electrical equipment specification & Datasheets, Design Basis and philosophies.
  • Preparation and review of Electrical calculations.
  • Preparation and review of Tender document and BOQ.
  • Preparation and review of ELV system design.
  • Experience in preparation / review / approval of following procurement deliverables; Material Requisition, TBE, Purchase Requisition and Vendor Drawing Review and approvals for Electrical Equipment's.
- electrical equipment and bulk item cost estimation.

  • Knowledge of Hazardous area requirements, Heat Tracing System Design, Cathodic protection system, etc.
  • Knowledge of ETAP /SKM or equivalent software and can review reports for load flow, short circuit, Motor starting, relay coordination and arc flash analysis.
  • FAT / SAT of Electrical Equipment's.
  • Good working knowledge of engineering on 3D platform (PDMS, E3D, SP3D, etc.).
  • Knowledge in handling issues during construction at site
  • Onsiteoffshore team coordination

Requirements:


  • Oil & Gas and Chemical Industry experience
  • Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)
  • Electrical
  • 812 years Total years of experience and relevant years of experience
  • Electrical
Engineer with 10-12 years of experience in Electrical design. At least 5 years of experience of Downstream projects in Oil and Gas Sector viz. refineries, petrochemical plants.

  • Familiarity of relevant codes and standards for Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Good understanding of Project lifecycle, Electrical detail engineering, timelines and milestones.
  • Good English communication skills verbal and written.
