    As the first Business Value Consultant in the APAC region, you will be a go-to-market leader playing a critical role in helping our prospects understand the business value of Asana. The role is a critical client facing role that works closely with our outbound sales teams (Sales, Solutions Engineering) to consult to clients and define the potential business value improvement that the platform can help them achieve. As a key voice of the customer, you will also drive initiatives internally to create and maintain cross-functional alignment on Asana's business impact for our customers.

    This role is based in our Singapore office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.

    What you'll achieve

  • Partner with the Sales and Solutions Engineering teams as a technical and domain expert to develop and drive account strategy for key accounts across industries and markets in APAC
  • Document gap analysis of clients' current versus desired/future state, identifying specific opportunities for improvement leveraging Asana's capabilities, using business, technical, and financial analysis
  • Manage and update business value collateral and innovate and develop new tools
  • Act a trusted advisor for customers and the outbound sales teams, and be a mentor for sellers unfamiliar with the role and provide consultative support and business value training for our teams (in conjunction with the enablement teams)
  • Co-create collateral in partnership with product marketing organization for solution specific presentations and demonstrations
  • Build talk tracks and positioning tailored to specific customer segments (, verticals, functions)
  • Partner with our Product, Product Marketing (PMM), Sales and Enablement teams for seamless end-to-end program execution
  • Provide feedback to our product teams about product enhancements that can address customer needs and drive additional value
  • About you

  • 5+ years working in customer facing roles in a SaaS environment
  • 2+ years working in a BVC / Value Engineering / Value Advisor / Value Architect or similar position
  • Analytical and Financial mindset, comfortable and experienced in navigating ROI, quantified business cases and financial modeling for investments (ROI, IRR, NPV, Payback etc)
  • Passionate about technology, sales and consulting. An inspiring and proven storyteller both written and orally, and who is comfortable presenting a company and product to anyone in any setting.
  • Experience presenting data and findings to clients (including executive audiences)
  • Deep understanding of the Customer <> Product feedback loop and how to most effectively and efficiently manage it toward desired outcomes. Ability to drive customer engagement through enablement strategies
  • Demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity in a high growth environment
  • Exceptional cross-functional leader and collaborator (esp. with AEs, SE, SC etc)

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

    For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $182,000 SGD - $246,000 SGD. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

    In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
