Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific assigned projects while ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and within scope.

As a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in initiating, planning, executing, and closing projects, while also ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

• Plan, organize, and direct the completion of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope.
• Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager, Engineering Manager, and various discipline Engineers to develop efficient project methods and meet project timelines.
• Interact with clients to understand their needs and requirements, translating them into actionable project plans.
• Identify and implement risk management strategies, including the development of contingency plans.
• Manage project budget, resource allocation, and monthly progress reporting.
• Hold regular meetings to track project progress and ensure compliance with time and budget restrictions.
• Conduct cost negotiations and manage subcontractors to achieve desired deliverables.
• Monitor overall progress, resource utilization, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and management.
• Provide direction and support to the project team, motivating them to achieve project objectives.
• Respond to client complaints, concerns, or requests throughout the project, ensuring client satisfaction and managing escalations.
• Generate innovative solutions to improve service quality, efficiency, safety, and environmental standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, contractual, and legal requirements throughout the project.
• Maintain project database and backup data as necessary.

• Possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical), (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in constructions projects, preferably in the water industry.
• Experience in superstructure and skids pre-fabrication & installation
• Construction Safety Course for Project Manager certification (in Singapore) is required.
• Excellent analytical thinking, interpersonal/communication skills and problems solving capacities.
• Applicants must be willing to travel as and when required.
