Description

In your role, you will:

• Prepare paint, prepare a surface and apply paint
• Apply paint in accordance with work instructions
• Prepare surfaces for overlap between painted areas
• Prepare for paint touch-ups or small areas (1 liter maximum)
• Knowledge of paint tools and their correct use
• Knowledge of the different types of paints and how to apply them
• Perform all work according to Bombardier standards, including quality and safety policies
• Able to carry out visual checks in accordance with project requirements to identity reasons for both non-conformities and successful outcomes
• Complete timecards daily and ensure that the snag/task card information is correct
• Punctual, meticulous, and good time management
• Adhere to our company General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions)
• Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all work in a safe and timely manner.
• Install sealant and erosion tape
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

• You must have 5+ years of aircraft paint experience on business aircraft or similar
• You must be able to work from documentation such as company procedures, preparation packages
• You must be able to work in a confined space
• You must be able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
• You must have a diploma or relevant trade certificates or equivalent
• You must have basic knowledge pulling maintenance manuals / IPCs from computer
• You must have basic knowledge of regulations dealing with transportation of hazardous materials
• You must have demonstrated ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status
