    Roles & Responsibilities

    The Programme Coordinator is responsible to perform duties in the Community Services Department at Sims Outreach Centre under the Active Community Transformation Services (ACTS) Division of MYMCA Singapore. The incumbent is responsible for planning, running and managing of community services programmes and support other related activities / meetings organized by the Association.

    Responsibilities

    1. Programme Operation and Management


    • Plans, executes, coordinates and manages M.Y Strong Readers programme


    • Prepares weekly lesson plans


    • Assists in planning, coordination and execution of other community services programmes

    2. Resource and Relationship


    • Recruits and supervises instructors and class aides to ensure efficient and effective running of programme.


    • Plans, conducts and coordinates orientation and training for instructors and class aides


    • Coordinates and manages effective working relationship with stakeholders eg. Principals, teachers, parents, NLB staff

    3. Administration


    • Ensures that all administration work like maintaining accurate records, information and database related to our beneficiaries, instructors, class aides and partners are captured, correct and updated and easily accessible and kept as intellectual properties of the Association.


    • Collects, updates and analyses information and data for reporting and evaluation purposes.


    • Prepares programme updates for monthly management report.


    • Prepares programme quarterly report, forms, letters and other documents for correspondences with stakeholders.

    4. Organisational Support


    • Undertakes any other duties assigned from time to time eg. Fundraising and Division events.


    • Participates and supports corporate events and projects.
