    Description

    Scope

    1. Organize & Manage production according to demand and quality standards.
    2. Ensure delivery of goods on time in a profitable manner.
    3. Identify production and planning improvement opportunities within the organization.

    Responsibilities

    1. Coordinate production workflow for multiple products.
    2. Establish and monitor manufacturing and scheduling output information.
    3. Monitor jobs to ensure on time delivery and budget target. Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
    4. Manufacture new tools from technical drawings to a high level of workmanship and in an efficient, cost-effective manner.
    5. Determine manpower, equipment, tool and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
    6. Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations, quality control, warehouse.
    7. Schedule shift according to production needs.
    8. Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
    9. Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
    10. Keep paperwork organized.
    11. Manage the running & plan activities of the tool room facilities and toolmakers, ensuring the tool room is a safe environment in line with health, safety and environmental requirements.
    12. Availability of tools to ensure continuous production
    13. Implement storage of tools to facilitate highest standards within the department for good housekeeping, health, safety and environmental.
    14. Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety

    Work Experience & Skill

    1. Proven experience as production planner.
    2. Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
    3. Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Kaizen,lean manufacturing.
    4. Experience in MRP (Manufacturing resource planning) or other planning tool.
    5. Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
    6. Good at math and statistics.
    7. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    8. Excellent communication abilities.
    9. High school diploma Further education or certification is preferred.
    10. Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred.
    11. Extensive plant level experience with significant proven supervisory experience.
    12. Technical understanding.
    13. Experience of managing Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities for manufacturing.
    14. Understanding of manufacturing and procurement/supply chain.
