Description
Our Client is a Japanese life insurance company. Currently, they are urgently looking for a Senior Accountant who can handle full-set accounting.
【What you will be working on】

  • Manage Overall Accounting for the company as well as other local and global subsidiary companies
  • Managing and processing accounts payable and accounts receivable for separate entities and vendors on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Review monthend reports to ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with local accounting standards with an external accountant.
  • Support all group entities for auditing, liaising with auditors, assisting in financial yearend audits and attending to any audit queries from external audits.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual financial budget and forecast exercise.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow forecast for all bank accounts.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by analyzing and collecting information.
  • Assist Compliance Officer in the preparation of reports to be submitted to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other statutory and regulatory reporting

Requirement:

【 What they are looking for 】

  • Minimum 58 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting in the Finance industry.
  • Preferably possess a qualification in Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Sound knowledge of Singapore and International Financial Reporting Standards and local statutory reporting requirements.
  • Strong in analytical skills and business acumen and highly proficient in related financial systems/tools.
  • Proactive, dynamic and able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Meticulous, responsible and committed.
  • A team player, handson with good thought processes and people management skills.

Working Hour: 8:45 ~ 17:45
