The Role
We are seeking a Data Scientist to join the team at Schonfeld in our Singapore office.

You will be working directly with Portfolio Manager and the investment team in developing and enhancing the existing trading and analytics platform.

You will be working closely with data and translating large datasets into meaningful market information to your peers.

You will create strong relationships across internal/external stakeholder groups and be able to communicate effectively and work well with others.

What you'll do

Assist the Portfolio Manager to develop and enhance the existing trading and analytics platform
Data integration, e.g. data collection, cleaning and organization.
Collecting data from various datasets and translating into market color.
Working on various projects assigned by the Portfolio Manager.

What you'll bring

What you need:

A minimum of 5 years' experience working as data specialists in a front office development role working
Financial Institution and/or buyside firm will be an advantage
Proficient in Python programming.
Experience working with SQL databases.
Have experience in web development using JavaScript.
Degree or above in computer Science, computer engineering or related disciplines.
