JOB SUMMARY
Provides support to Vice President, Communications, APEC. Performs other related tasks as assigned by management & team. Complies with the company policies and procedures.


CANDIDATE PROFILE

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent level of English is essential (verbal and written).
  • Knowledge of Marriott International Key Brands and Strategies with a strong administrative background able to work on their own initiative, ability to effectively communicate with guests, owners and coworkers. Flexibility of role dependent on business needs.
  • Strong customer development and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to design and implement successful tracking of documents and spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of all Marriott Lodging products, cultures and brand strategies,
  • Ability to manage and balance own time.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proactive and reliable.
  • Ability to assist in preparation of quality PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships e.g. associates, customers, owners.
  • Able to use initiative and work under mínimal supervision.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Works with the APEC Communications teams to develop key stakeholder presentations and reports for meetings that support the Communications efforts.
  • Assists with the design and preparation of statistical reports as required.
  • Creates and maintains shared folders and team performance tracking documents.
  • Produces and distributes team correspondence, presentations and other related documents as required.
  • Assists Vice President, Communications and team in preparation of various presentations/ reports/ updates.
  • Monitors and assists in maintaining APEC Communications content, working with discipline teams.
  • Maintains diaries and schedules appointments and meeting for VP Communications.
  • Composes, produces and signs correspondence on routine matters with specific permission, sign for manager and release.
  • Coordinates venue, agendas and minutes for various meetings.
  • Coordinates all travel and hotel accommodation arrangements.
  • Coordinates Team meetings.
  • Sets up conference calls.
  • Files and forwardtraces a variety of documents.
  • Maintains office supplies for area.
  • Processes expense reports.
  • Takes meeting minutes as requested.
  • Tracks team vacation.
  • Maintains, collates and distributes all relevant activity reports.
  • Responds to various requests for help and information.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned by management.
  • Complies with the company policies and procedures.
