    Deputy Head of Governance, Audits and Emergency Planning Section (GAEP)


    To lead and manage the safety, security and emergency planning programmes of the rail business area in ensuring that the operational standards of safety and reliability are maintainedMajor ResponsibilitiesTo lead the safety, security and emergency planning section, accountable for the administration of security standards, codes of practice, emergency planning and business continuity related programmes.

    To lead the development of new and existing general procedure relating to safety, security and emergency planningTo lead the development of education and awareness programmes for safety, security and emergency planning.

    To support in the pre-audit activities for LTA audits.

    To support Head of Rail Risk to ensure effective management of the rail business operating risks and the Enterprise Risk Management risk register.

    Oversee the planning and operation of security system and infrastructure for rail depots and stations, in compliance with LTA CP6 and requirements of the relevant authorities.

    Responsible for planning and co-ordination of emergency drills and exercises involving Rail Business.

    Responsible for the formulation, planning and implementation of procedures and tasks for emergency planning to ensure compliance of LTA CP7 and business continuity in Rail Business.

    Collaborate with internal and external agencies to security awareness for the business areaCollaborate with internal and external agencies to drive emergency planning initiatives and plansAny duty assigned by the Head of DepartmentSpecific Safety ResponsibilitiesPerform work safely according to Operating Rules and Procedures.

    Perform Monthly Executive Safety Observation ChecksJob SpecificationsMinimum Education / QualificationsDegree/Diploma in any discipline.
    Minimum Years of Relevant ExperienceMinimum 8 years of work experience relevant to safety and security management or railway operations.
    Knowledge/SkillsAcceptable procedure, instruction or report writing skillsCompany information
