Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and finalizing projects according to the specifications and deadlines, all while keeping the project within budget. Creates and reports project status and allocates resources as needed. Defines project governance policies and manages the financial concerns. Communicates and interfaces with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units. May partner with external vendors based on the nature of the project. Position will receive direction and support.
Project manager on Junior Level is typically managing small, low-risk projects and is responsible for its overall direction, completion and financial outcome.

• Utilize Project Management Dashboard to fill out Path to Closure, Cost and Schedule, Vulnerability & Risk, Bridging Agreements, Remediation System Performance Tool, Access Agreements, etc.

• Provide support on development of consistent total life cycle cost, planning and budgeting, reserves, and reserve break-ins

• Ensure site-specific risks are assessed, actions prioritized and risk management plans developed

• Initiate procurement actions, evaluate contractor proposals, approve expenditures, steward and evaluate work execution.

• Provide field execution support for Commercial transactions and strategies

• Supervise activities of contractors/consultants

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. MS Project or other project management tools. Consensus building skills.

• Need experienced candidate of between 3-5 years.

• Behavioral Skills: creates ownership, drives functional excellence, promotes productive impact, effectively manages external relationships

• Technical Skills: contracting / subcontracting, design & engineering management, execution planning, cost estimating, planning & scheduling, project controls, cost & schedule methods & data management, quality management

• Looking for candidates in the environmental background and has worked on environmental projects.

• Looking for candidates in the environmental field with specialization/work experience with ground/soil/water.

• Will be advantageous if candidate has interest/background with commercial transactions.
