    Roles & Responsibilities

    Job Description:

    The Operations Manager of the SGA will lead the operations team of the SGA Secretariat, reporting to the General Manager. He/she will work closely with the General Manager to execute strategic direction, oversee day-to-day operations, and drive initiatives that contribute to the growth and development of golf in Singapore. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of the organization, enhancing its operational efficiency, and achieving its mission.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1) Operational Leadership:

    Lead the Secretariat to ensure efficient and effective operations in all areas of SGA operations including

    tournaments/events, marketing, community engagement, golf development, high performance.

    Review and streamline processes to improve organizational efficiency and productivity.

    Monitor the implementation of programs, initiatives, and projects to ensure they align with strategic

    objectives.

    2) Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Partnerships:

    Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, golf clubs, sponsors,

    partners, and the golfing community.

    Work with the General Manager to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that enhance the SGA's ability

    to achieve its mission and goals.

    3) Financial Management:

    Collaborate with the General Manager and finance team to develop and manage the organization's budget.

    Oversee financial performance, including revenue generation, cost control, and financial reporting.

    Identify opportunities for revenue growth and diversification.

    4) Governance and Compliance:

    Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and governing documents.

    Work closely with the General Manager and Finance Manager to facilitate effective governance practices.

    Qualifications:

    Proven leadership experience in a senior executive role, preferably within a sports or non-profit organization.

    Bachelor's degree in business administration, sports management, or a related field preferred.

    Strong operational planning and execution skills.
