Overview

The HR Director has the opportunity to lead the HR teams in Malaysia and Singapore, and drive people initiatives for both Singapore and Malaysia.

He/She will work closely with the senior leadership to build a strong organizational culture and drive process improvement in all HR aspects.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition, employee career development, succession planning, retention programs, training and leadership development
Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team
Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organization
Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent
Develop Human Resources strategies aligned with organizational direction/objectives and values
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in addition to establishing and following Company policy
Conduct investigations and implement proper remedial actions in response to facts obtained through the investigative process
Develop and implement a wide variety of people programs, policies, and processes related to the Human Resource function
Facilitate internal meetings, training, etc. for the purpose of identifying issues, developing recommendations, supporting other staff and educating all employees on important topics
Evaluate reports, decisions and results of departments in relation to established goals.

ROLE REQUIREMENT

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or Organization Development
10 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources, preferably from F&B/Hospitality/FMCG/Retail
Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation & benefits, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training and development
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR staff members
Served as a successful participant on the executive management team that provides Company leadership and direction
