    Roles & Responsibilities

    The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our IT department, ensuring the smooth functioning of our technology infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing a talented team to deliver high-quality IT services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT management, project management, and team leadership, with expertise in End User Computing, IT infrastructure, Cloud-based/SaaS solutions, Office 365, Interset access, and Firewalls.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Team Management:Lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
      Provide coaching and mentorship for team members.
      Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear objectives for the team.
    2. Strategic Planning:Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
      Identify and recommend technology solutions, including End User Computing, Cloud-based/SaaS solutions, and Office 365, that support organizational growth and efficiency.
      Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
    3. Infrastructure Management:Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and end-user devices.
      Manage and enhance network security measures, including firewalls, to safeguard company data and systems.
      Ensure the availability and reliability of IT systems to meet business needs.
    4. Cloud-Based/SaaS Solutions:Evaluate, implement, and manage cloud-based and SaaS solutions to enhance business processes and scalability.
      Work with cross-functional teams to migrate and optimize applications and services in the cloud.
    5. Office 365 and Interset Access:Manage and optimize Office 365 services, ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity.
      Oversee Interset access and other security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance.
    6. Project Management:Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects from conception to completion, including those related to cloud migrations and infrastructure upgrades.
      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
      Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
    7. Vendor Management:Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, particularly those related to cloud services and security solutions.
      Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.
      Stay informed about market trends and recommend changes to vendor partnerships as needed.

    Skills and Competencies:

    1. Leadership:Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
      Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    2. Technical Proficiency:In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
      Familiarity with a range of technologies, including cloud-based/SaaS solutions, Office 365, and firewalls.
    3. Project Management:Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
      Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
    4. Problem Solving:Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
      Proactive problem-solving skills to address potential challenges before they escalate.
    5. Strategic Thinking:Ability to align IT strategies with overall business objectives.
      Forward-thinking approach to technology planning and implementation.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Minimal 4 years of experience in IT management.
    • Minimal 5 years of experience in team leadership.
    • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
