- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of emerging technologies, industry trends, and market opportunities to support portfolio management decisions.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on research findings to support portfolio optimization and business growth initiatives.
- Stay informed about technological innovations, industry standards, and regulatory changes impacting the tech space.
- Analyze market data, customer feedback, and industry reports to identify potential areas for portfolio expansion and product development.
- Monitor and evaluate competitor activities, including product launches, strategic partnerships, and technological advancements.
- Develop and maintain databases and reports to track portfolio performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
- Support the development of presentations and reports for internal stakeholders and senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for portfolio planning and decision-making processes.
- At least a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology research, market analysis, or portfolio management.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies, including but not limited to cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and IoT.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex datasets and synthesizing information to derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Python).
- Knowledge of technology industry databases and research tools (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
