Description

Job Description:

• Technical service and repair of motor vehicles including troubleshooting using diagnostic equipment
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.)
• Perform quality checks and road tests on vehicles
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
• Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
• Liaise with Customer Service Advisor on the service/repairs-related matters
• Provide support to customer service, sales, and workshop
• Maintain facilities and equipment of the workshop
• Any other or ad-hoc assignments by the immediate supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec in Automotive Technology or its equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Ability to handle various tools
• Proven experience as an automotive mechanic
• Highly motivated and results-driven
• Customer service mindset with a positive attitude
• Class 3 driving licence (good to have but not obligatory)
