- Design and develop metrology systems, with large focus on multidisciplinary engineering skills, based on latest technologies to fulfil customers from semiconductor manufacturing industry
- Collaborate and host design reviews with multi-disciplined teams (software, optics, mechanical) on engineering concept design
- Prepare preliminary schematics and final designs, calculations, equipment selection and layout
- Set up and conduct lab work for prototype specs validation
- Conduct tests and analyze raw data of metrology systems
- Preparation of reports for feasibility study, new parts evaluation, failure analysis and cost study
- Prepare manufacturing documentation and collaborate to release new solutions and solve production related problems
- Host meetings both internally and with customers
- Occasional travel for training & collaboration
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Physics/Mechatronics Engineering and 5 years' work experience
- Experience in the applications of optics, high precision mechanics
- Knowledge in Python & statistical analysis is a plus
- Experience in semiconductor industry is an added advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
