- Conducting in-depth research and analysis on containerships business industry including terminal business.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the global alliances mechanic
- Analyzing the latest trend of the product lineup of container shipping industry.
- Periodical reporting on the latest containerships market development based on research and analysis.
- Minimum experience of 15 years in Container carrier including Trade management, Operations, and Consortia management.
- Minimum experience of 5 years in management role experience (Led a team of at least 15 staff)
- Familiarity with the container shipping market, including but not limited to the Transpacific, Europe, Trans Atlantic, Middle East, Latin America, and Intra Asia.
- Experience in managing the container shipping alliances in the principal level.
- Good and wide contacts with the shipping intelligence.
- Experience in managing the company's overall profit loss .
- Sufficient knowledge and experience of shipping financing and accounting.
- This role will have to communicate and liaise with Japanese counterparts (such as Global Headquarters in Japan). Proficiency in written and spoken Japanese is preferred.
