Roles & ResponsibilitiesYou will begin your journey here by supporting the Accountant, mainly in areas of accounts receivables and accounts payables.
Your duties may include:
Processing invoices, staff claims, and other payments.
Monitoring receivables from sales.
Assisting in the preparation of period-end closing and bank reconciliation.
Liaising with bank (through phone calls and written communications) on various matters.
Performing data entry and other clerical tasks such as filing and answering phone calls.
Assisting to oversee the China Office's accounting matters.
Carrying out other ad-hoc tasks.
Covering the Accountant in their absence.
Requirements
Diploma in Accountancy from a reputable polytechnic or at least 1 year experience in accounting work.
Familiarity with ACRA/ Accounting Standards/ Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and basic accounting principles.
Fluent in English and Chinese (to communicate effectively with the China Office).
Has initiative.
Can commit to working some overtime.
Can thrive in a small team.

This is an entry-level position. Remuneration will commensurate with work experience.
