The Operations Project Management team is a team of Project Managers with expertise in Manufacturing Operations. We specialise in delivering NPI projects, for Dyson made Technologies, to our internal product lines.

We play a key role in influencing, governing, and ensuring cross-functional cohesion and focus to deliver NPI projects on time, within cost and at the desired quality.

Our scope of function primarily includes working with Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain and RDD teams.

We work with these and other various cross-functional teams throughout the end-to-end project delivery life cycle and ensure that the project is moving towards it's set objectives at each of the key milestones.

About the roleThe Senior Operations Program Manager role will be responsible for governance and delivery of the Energy Storage programme through the implementation and execution of world class NPI practices.

Lead cross-functional Manufacturing Operations teams through the end-to-end product development lifecycle of Dyson to ensure project delivery on-time, within cost and at the desired quality.

Ensure the delivery of on-going and future Energy Storage projects through a combination of implementing best practices in Project Management and NPI Life Cycle.

Enterprise level cross-functional problem solving and conflict resolution through governance and influential leadership.

Within 6 months, attain an expert level understanding of the existing Dyson Product Creation Framework (PCF) and become the single-point-of-contact for the Energy Storage OPM team.

Within 6 months, interpret the PCF within the context of on-going Energy Storage projects and identify a set of cross-functional manufacturing operations deliverables at each milestone.

Build strong relationships with a variety of key stakeholders both horizontally and vertically.
About youStrong fundamentals in Project Management and understanding of NPI Life Cycle.
Manufacturing background with basic knowledge of Lean thinking/methodologies.
Comfortable with ambiguity and sudden changes in direction.
