    Roles & Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    To be involved in all pre-sales, overseeing, planning and coordinating of projects to ensure effective solutions are delivered within agreed timescales and costs.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the development of project plans to ensure that effective systems are introduced to meet identified needs
    • Monitor the implementation of projects to ensure that all targets are reached and that the overall project is completed in accordance with agreed timescales and costs
    • Identify user requirements and develop project and product specifications that will ensure that these requirements are met
    • Develop and implement any necessary procedures and documentation required to support new systems and procedures
    • Conduct post-project evaluations to ensure that systems implemented are operating effectively and providing the services required by users
    • Represent the department on project teams to ensure that the best possible advice is given about the implications of any new systems and proposed changes
    • To assist in training and coaching of junior project managers/engineers
    • To assist Director on any other tasks as instructed

    Requirements:

    • Degree in IT / Engineering / Business Administration (Computer Science/InfoComm/Management) or equivalent
    • Good command of english, with excellent written and verbal communication
    • At least 3 years of working experience in relevant industry
    • Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
    • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
    • Meticulous and aptitude for problem solving
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Significant hands-on experience with industry-specific software
    • Prior experience in managing POS systems is an added advantage
