- Assist in the development of project plans to ensure that effective systems are introduced to meet identified needs
- Monitor the implementation of projects to ensure that all targets are reached and that the overall project is completed in accordance with agreed timescales and costs
- Identify user requirements and develop project and product specifications that will ensure that these requirements are met
- Develop and implement any necessary procedures and documentation required to support new systems and procedures
- Conduct post-project evaluations to ensure that systems implemented are operating effectively and providing the services required by users
- Represent the department on project teams to ensure that the best possible advice is given about the implications of any new systems and proposed changes
- To assist in training and coaching of junior project managers/engineers
- To assist Director on any other tasks as instructed
- Degree in IT / Engineering / Business Administration (Computer Science/InfoComm/Management) or equivalent
- Good command of english, with excellent written and verbal communication
- At least 3 years of working experience in relevant industry
- Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Meticulous and aptitude for problem solving
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Significant hands-on experience with industry-specific software
- Prior experience in managing POS systems is an added advantage
