Job Description & Requirements

• Oversees and participates in repairs and improvements to facilities and equipment as needed.
• Supervises marine carpenters to ensure safety and quality in the performance of assigned tasks.
• Install fixtures and apparatuses; repair and replace hardware.
• Estimate and purchase tools, materials, equipment and supplies as necessary to perform assigned duties and tasks.
• Coordinates and prioritizes work done inside the shipyard
• Maintains paperwork as necessary for the operation of the carpentry department (may include time sheets, purchase orders, work orders, etc.).
• Constructs custom cabinetry and furniture as needed; repairs or modifies furniture as needed.
• Conform to an established work schedule.

Requirement:

Knowledge of MS office.

Able to work OT.

Excellent coordination skills.

Able to work in Night shifts.

Able to working at Height.

• Ability to training fresher's & operators in work area.
• Ability of control manpower through allocating of work in a shift.
• Knowledge of Quality & Environment management systems applicable.
• Ability to prepare departmental reports production & rejection.
• All kind of threading and thread repair works .
