Description
This position involves working with R&D engineers on the development and qualification of the Thermal printer products and systems.

  • The Test Engineers will be responsible for executing all aspects of the test and qualification process for printer products, including executing test plans, documenting test results, assisting in troubleshooting of issues, and coordinating testing with inhouse, outsource and driving the project to be delivered in time with high quality.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Actively participate in Scrum teams and work with other The SQA engineers to test the printer under test.
  • Learn to analyze and decompose printer systems and assist in the development of strategies to test at system level.
  • Strong commitment to quality software engineering best practices and the Scrum methodology.
  • Communicate and file reports on issues encountered during testing. Perform basic troubleshooting and feedback to SQA engineers with detail of issue.
  • Support adhoc test requests from the R&D Engineers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:


  • Degree in Electronics or Computer disciplines.
  • Minimum 45 years' experience with at least one full project lifecycle SQA experience.
  • Experience in testing Printer or other Electro-Mechanical product is preferred.
  • Experience in Software Quality Assurance Methodologies.
  • Independent and goaloriented.
  • Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
