    What you will be working on

    As a member of the Strategy & Planning department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping CPFB's future by leading the strategic planning process. Your responsibilities include conducting future sensing, framing complex issues, and developing business strategies aligned with CPFB's goals. Additionally, you will oversee governance structures, ensuring effective discharge of fiduciary duties.

    The broad areas of your responsibilities include

    • Conduct comprehensive future sensing and environmental scans to identify emerging trends and issues affecting CPFB.
    • Frame complex and ambiguous issues, developing business strategies that align with CPFB's operational realities.
    • Facilitate discussions with various stakeholders, including senior management, to identify growth opportunities aligned with CPFB's strategic goals.
    • Develop and cascade strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with CPFB's priorities and effective resource management.
    • Review, update, and align key indicators with CPFB's strategic workplan to monitor progress towards desired outcomes.
    • Institute robust governance frameworks and policies, monitoring implementation and compliance to ensure proper discharge of CPFB's role as Trustee.

    • Proven ability to navigate complex issues and develop effective business strategies.
    • Familiarity with governance frameworks and policies.
    • Experience in facilitating and managing change initiatives within an organisation.
    • Ability to thrive in an environment characterised by change, ambiguity, and complexity.
    • Ability to contribute to the development and execution of an organization's strategic vision.
    • Ability in engaging with stakeholders at different levels, including senior management, to secure buy-in and align expectations.
    • Ability to effectively multitask and adapt to a fast-paced work environment, readily embracing new challenges.
    • Clear and succinct written communication and adept at delivering convincing presentations.

    The successful candidate will hold the corporate title of Manager/Senior Manager, with seniority based on individual work experiences.
