    Job Description

    The jobholder is in charge of all operational tasks related to kitchen, laundry, cleaning, and both hard and soft FM at Econ facilities.

    1. Operation

    • Support the Head of Department in reviewing, enhancing, and implementing processes
    • Assist business units in assessing, developing communication and tactical methods to execute strategies and policies
    • Provide guidance to centers in coordinating with various departments to ensure operational efficiency
    • Implement and oversee control measures at the department and center level (e.g., ISO, SOP, Inventories, etc.)

    2. Maintenance of Facility

    • Help in managing operations, maintenance, and upkeep of the facilities for the group
    • Inspect and confirm that all services and systems comply with legal requirements
    • Conduct monthly building inspections as per the schedule

    3. Repair and Maintenance

    • Respond to fault or service calls for all facility systems and infrastructure
    • Address breakdowns and service requests promptly

    4. Vendor Management

    • Identify and recommend contractors/vendors for repair and rectification tasks
    • Supervise vendors and contractors, ensuring adherence to company's terms and conditions

    5. Inventory and Resource Management

    • Create ePR for purchases and repair works as directed
    • Aid in procurement and acquisition of services and parts
    • Maintain precise inventory control for company assets, spare parts, equipment, tools, and instruments

    6. Administrative Role

    • Support the Manager in compiling quotations and reports when required
    • Monitor project progress, inventory, and utilities reports
    • Renew all statutory licenses in a timely manner
    • Update service maintenance reports in One Drive

    7. Supervisory Role

    • Supervise the operational staff at the respective nursing home support
    • Requirements:

      • Minimum Diploma in a facilities-related discipline
      • Candidates with Fire Safety Manager, WSH, Food Safety, and Hospitality Certificates have an advantage
      • Familiarity with standard computer programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
      • Understanding of hard and soft FM, workplace safety requirements, kitchen operations, and cleaning operations
      • Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
      • Effective team player

      Qualifications

      Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
