What the role is

As the sector champion for the hotel industry, you will work closely with government agencies, hotel owners and operators, industry associations and stakeholders to drive the development of a resilient, competitive, innovative and sustainable hotel industry underpinned by a strong Singapore core.

You will work as part of a team to oversee policies and regulations related to the hotel industry, to build a pro-enterprise and robust landscape for hotel investment, development, operations and compliance.

This role is a 2-year contract position.

What you will be working on

Cultivate relationships with key hotel accounts and understanding their needs and challenges in transforming their businesses. You will have an opportunity to tailor support for key accounts through STB's own programmes and other government schemes to enable hotels to adopt new business models, drive innovation and adopt best practices (e.g. in human capital, sustainability efforts, etc.).
You will also engage and work closely with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. other government agencies, industry association and stakeholders) on areas such as policy and process reviews. You will gather and analyse data and qualitative from information various sources to analyse and report findings and recommendations.
