    Description
    Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

    Collaborate with sales/customer service/AE to understand their requirements and gather information for supplier quotations.

    Source for product pricing and lead time from suppliers, providing cost, freight charges and tax & duties (if any) to customer service team.

    Identify and establish relationships with suppliers, wholesalers, manufacturers, or distributors who can provide the selected products.
    Negotiate terms and agreements with suppliers, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
    Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and changes in consumer behavior to adapt the product sourcing strategy accordingly.
    Ensure that all products sourced comply with relevant laws and regulations, such as safety standards and import/export regulations.
    Identify and mitigate risks associated with product sourcing, including supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and market changes.

    Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration, negotiate better terms, and resolve any issues that may arise.

    Continuously evaluate and optimize the cost structure related to product sourcing, including finding cost-effective suppliers and shipping methods.
    Provide regular reports and insights to inform business decisions.
    Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by your immediate superior

    Requirements:
    Possess at least a minimum Diploma in Business / Engineering / Mechanical discipline or equivalentHas at least two years of experience in a relevant fieldKnowledge of mechanical engineering products is an added advantageGood communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
